[ It almost seemed the Primal had beckoned them. Alphinaud, Papalymo, Yda and Urianger had come to investigate Alexander, and there had been a large open passage. They'd all entered together, and there was a city. After a bit of navigation, though...

...there was a Primal standing in the center of the town. Well, it looked like a Primal to all those who could see it, the four who presented themselves inside. They looked like a being of pure Light, eying the four.

But it seems they won't make the first move. Not yet. ]

[she reaches out to touch Cordis a little, too, gently- just trying to reassure him.]

Yeah- this place seems pretty interesting, but also kinda complicated! I didn't realise there'd be an entire city here. Um… I don't think I've heard of them, but there could be some? We can ask. [she reaches out to take his hand, settling against him to start nomming a little.] That's good to hear! You're all good Gods, then.

The Goblins who made their home inside here created it - it wasn't me. Made to hold knowledge of everything Eorzea. [ aww cid is proud, before he gets out a tomephone. with everybody now feeding. :3c ] Even those who begin as lost and confused end up fine with us-- even those who were Garlean before.

Oh- Goblins, huh? Well, it looked like a pretty good job! Very handy! [she's making soft happy sounds as she feeds, cuddling up and relaxing.] Well- I bet you guys have been helping them, right? Because- it's not nice to be lost. Wait- Garleans have become Gods, too?

...They have. Doesn't seem to matter, if I'm honest.

[ His expression turns a little serious. ] Whoever chose to make us gods doesn't care for our pasts and how damned dangerous it could be - but it also influences what we become. Take Gaius van Baelsar. He is now the Primal of the Gnath - a being who runs though and commands all their minds.

I guess- maybe it'd make them feel more invested, huh?

The way… we all kinda seem to fit, too? [she leans into him, listening.]. So sort of- like commanding an army.

...Yes, a lot like that. You're some form of griffin, aren't you? And then we've got a sphinx, a kirin, and a vampire. Fitting for each of you. Whoever's above me has a sense of humour.

Yup! See, that's what I thought. Maybe they do! But it seems a little less weird than if we were something else, right?

It does. Cid smiles. I don't think I'd go well as another Deity. [ Cid is quiet, moving to sit and gesturing the others to sit as well. ] In this reflection, Yda is Rhalgr - and she also still uses her mask.

It'd be weird- especially if they had a different aspect, right? [she settles down, cuddling, with a little excited chirp.]. Rhalgr-! That's very impressive- I guess she's just as much of a guardian, huh? Is that- do the others mind?

If they minded, they'd get a fist-full from her and her apprentice. [ that is a yes, as cid laughs a little. ] Though the Sylph are convinced she's Ramuh.

Her apprentice-! So we've both got people we care about, huh? [she wriggles a little, excited.]. The Sylphs are? I never imagined- I guess I could see it, though! Are- are they okay?

--If not for Garlemald, we'd be at absolute peace. [ Cid admits, smiling. ] I hope it comes soon... for Cordis' sake. They've even managed to win over Ascians to our side. Except for the one in white.

So we just have to convince them…. Sounds easier than it'll be. [she nods.]. I hope so! I didn't know that- there's one in white? I thought they wouldn't be able to wear it.

Yes. His name is Elidibus - at least, that's what I've heard. One of those higher Ascians, like what Lahabrea an' Igeyorhm used to be. [ Cid shrugs, though. ] It's got to be more complex then that.

[readypunch]

Elidibus, huh…. Maybe we can find out more about him somewhere, too. Used to be? Are they- demoted? [she tilts her head.] Well- yeah. I mean- that's way too simple, right? Especially when… we're the sort of thing that's been hated.

[magitrap]

As you're aware, Igeyorhm is currently in your reflection... but before that, she was turned Hyur. [ in others words, she's every right to be scared. But Cid begins to touch her hands a little. ] You may look frightening - and feel frightening, with how your aether works - but you've got the same good hearts as those here. [ A pause. ] All of you do.

Hyur-? That's- wow! But that explains why she was so worried…. [It'd be harder to do anything about the Void, right? She lets Cid touch them, shifting to stroke her fingers a little.] Aw! Im glad to hear that. You've definitely got a good heart, too. And it's been nice and easy to talk to you!

Some of us need to be friendly. [ Cid says, so gently. So kindly. ] A lot of those who awaken as Deity - or that group of people who came from a third reflection - end up being scared of what's going to happen. Or end up in bad situations.

[readypunch]

So that people have a kind face to look to to guide them, right? And they won't blunder into anything 'cause they're scared.

There's another reflection, too?

There's no point in making Cordis have to fight more, either. I thought he was able to greet you, but...

...There was. But it vanished. [ Cid looks... a little regretful at that? Huh. Alphinaud can't help but prod. ]

A whole reflection can't just vanish - can it?!

...Hah. Right you are. It was attacked. Those attacks are also why our worlds need to become one.

No- I- I'm sorry about that. I guess we didn't make the best first impression, huh?

[she whistles alarm, cuddling in a little more.]

To put our strengths together to protect everyone, in other words?

Yes. Else it'll be consumed by a Deity above Deity-- ah. Basically, a deity stronger then Hydaelyn and Zodiark. Eorzea isn't the only star out there - well, it used to not be.

...And I think Cordis'll be okay with it. [ Cid says, softly, noting that Cordis was listening and watching a little. Sniffing. ]

So- something incredibly powerful. But… it took them?

That'll be good! Working together sounds nice to me. [she holds a hand out to them, to take if they'll like, offering a smile.]

[ After a moment, Cordis takes her hand, while listening gently. Oh, how they loved listening to Cid. ]

It destroyed those stars. But their souls survive - sometimes reborn in different ones. [ Cid... how do you know all of this? Papalymo looks close to asking, but decides he doesn't want to know. ] I don't know why ours is safer then ones that came before or after it.

[She gives their hand a gentle squeeze, continuing to just hold on.]

So it's not all lost. You've been investigating it, though, huh? At least we know that it is- and that's why it needs to be protected.
