the first meeting
[ It almost seemed the Primal had beckoned them. Alphinaud, Papalymo, Yda and Urianger had come to investigate Alexander, and there had been a large open passage. They'd all entered together, and there was a city. After a bit of navigation, though...
...there was a Primal standing in the center of the town. Well, it looked like a Primal to all those who could see it, the four who presented themselves inside. They looked like a being of pure Light, eying the four.
But it seems they won't make the first move. Not yet. ]

I'd hope so. Otherwise this is a ticking time bomb - and so close to people.
Are they people? [ Alphinaud asks, so casually. ]
no subject
That's- they're people, Alphinaud. There's probably people who aren't deities around here, too.
no subject
To them, we're monsters. Wouldn't it be the same...? They've tried to kill me before, if you recall correctly.

[ Oh. alphinaud is sneering. what a cute proud boy. until papalymo speaks, giving Yda a little smooch on the chin. ] I'm certain you can befriend them - that's what you're best at. Better then declaring war on them or the such.
no subject
[she ruffles his hair, purring when Papalymo smooches her.]. Yeah! If they're anything like our friends- they've got to be nice! It'd be pretty weird if we did that.
no subject
--until there's a flapping, and Cordis is back. Holding... robes? ] --Uh, Um. Sorry for rushing off. Realised that y'all can't just walk around housin' wards. Bein' voidsent and all.
no subject
[she reaches out to touch him gently.]
no subject
Oh, right - I asked Nald'thal and she got some we had around for Roegadyn! Uh, and then cut it open. She wanted to ask for more time but we don't have it, do we?
...Nald'thal. [ Urianger repeats, staring a little. ] Nald'thal, Gods of Commerce and the Afterlife, enjoy craft?
They're not ruled by their deity. Well, they still embody 'em, but they're not them. They've still got their old minds in there. It's-- good.
no subject
Well- with commerce, it makes a little sense, right? But- oh, so you mean- the person who became them… likes that? [her expression softens a little, as she reaches out to Cordis.] I guess it would be. Who… are they, I guess?
no subject
no subject
[she settles her own robes over herself, and nods- reaching out to squeeze Cordis' arm gently.]
no subject
For a moment, as they teleport, Cordis feels... wrong. Like pure Light, the burning sort. But it fades...
...and they're in Ishgard, outside a mansion. Cordis coughs a few times. ]
Igeyorhm always liked this most out of my houses. If your sister is anywhere, it'd be here.
no subject
She holds onto Cordis a little tighter for a moment.]
Wow- so you have a few? That's nice! And- you think so? Let's head in, then!
no subject
[ But as they move towards the door, well. There's a crying terrified Lalafell there, who tries to stop crying as soon as the group approaches. Cordis looks to the group. ] Ah-- you'll need to go ahead of me. [ to the lalafell: ] Lahabrea, what happened?
[ The Lalafell huffs. Igeyorhm tried to use White Auracite on him, he mumbles, as Cordis sits down to cuddle up to the... Ascian-robed Lalafell. The door is open, now! ]
no subject
[she stops for a moment, watching.]
Ah- she used Auracite-? I'm going ahead! I'll see you inside! [she heads in, looking for- ah, she'll look like Igeyorhm right now, won't she? But it's still Lyse!]
no subject
Holding Auracite, shaking. Crying. She's made things better... she thinks. She sent them somebody who's useful. Not like her. And she still feels so hungry for what she can do. Her body still looks fine. Well, Igeyorhms beautiful body, in a soft black gown. ]
no subject
Lyse? Come here.
no subject
...Why did you come here? It can't have been easy - and things were fine.
[ She eventually asks. Sounding... like she's been crying a lot. Her throat is sore. ]
no subject
no subject
[ She doesn't answer the question. ]
no subject
…is that why you thought we'd be okay?
no subject
I mean, with all that devouring reality stuff.
no subject
[she nods.]. I think- maybe the others here can help, too.
no subject
but she places her forehead to Yda, even if she doesn't look like Lyse. She feels like her. ] They're very smart here. And good at punching. I tried-- I tried to absorb that little Lalafell in an Ascian cloak. Because Ascian are still dangerous.
