the first meeting

[ It almost seemed the Primal had beckoned them. Alphinaud, Papalymo, Yda and Urianger had come to investigate Alexander, and there had been a large open passage. They'd all entered together, and there was a city. After a bit of navigation, though...

...there was a Primal standing in the center of the town. Well, it looked like a Primal to all those who could see it, the four who presented themselves inside. They looked like a being of pure Light, eying the four.

But it seems they won't make the first move. Not yet. ]

[Yda nuzzles into her, as Rhalgr settles down to hold Lyse's hand- tracing her fingers over Lyse's skin. She blinks quickly after catching that glimpse- so intense! But she squeezes Nymeia's hand.]. Course! I mean- you're all family of a sort, right? I don't want anything- well, this- I don't wanna hurt you.

That's good! So there's ways we can do- but we can still aid it.

[she's glad to see it! smiling gently.] Yeah. Together- we can survive, right? And more! We can look out for each other.

[lyse]

[ Lyse can't help but twitch at being touched a little - but it's fine. She's just... protesting the sudden cut off from magic. Nymeia seems to be thinking... hm... ] I wonder if Thaliak would know what to do with her? We can't just leave her hurt-- we are family. We're family! You're family!

[ It's said more cheerfully then expected. ] I know we'll survive. I mean, if I saw us steering towards the opposite, I'd be a lot more worried. Spend a lot less time having fun.

[Rhalgr frowns- but she keeps watching, touch still gentle.]. Thaliak- would, um. Would he- well, he'd know a lot, right? We are! Ah- I didn't expect I'd have this much family…!

[well! it's nice, right? Hopefully!]. Okay. That's good to know! I mean- we're doing good at looking after each other, then!

[lyse]

He cured a curse our Y'shtola and Thancred had gotten from Flow. Compared to that... this'd be easy, right? [ aw she's gonna just. close her eyes. ] Oh, he's Louisoix, by the by. We didn't know he was one of us Deity until we found him after mourning for a while.

From Flow…? Eesh. That sounds bad. I think it should be! But I guess we'll have to ask him! [she lets out a gasp, leaning forward.]. What- really? Well- I guess that makes sense! But- I didn't know- I didn't realise…. Was he okay?

Yeah - it was nasty. Thancred was missing for nearly a year, and Y'shtola for a while as well. And Minfilia, well... [ Nymeia trails off, frowning a little. Before leaning forward as well, to give a little kiss. ] He's fine now, but he was stuck down there with only a Garlean general! Luckily they're friends now, but I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

Oh, geez- that's way too long. But- I mean, you said they're here, right? So they're okay? [she gives a soft sound.] Is she okay…? [she nuzzles in, given a little kiss back.]. Oh- hells, no, and of anyone- he probably deserves that the least. But- I guess that's good! If they were able to get along- they made it out.

Mhm! Though, for a while, they were bonded together - like, one couldn't stay away from the other. [ nodnod. ] I think they even became friends. At least, Nael hasn't used his Bahamut powers to attack us.

Uh, Bahamut is one of us Deity. All Primal are, it's weird. But nice!

Oh- they'd been given such a strong link? That sounds strange… Oh! Well, I'm glad that hasn't happened!

It definitely sounds weird! But- you're all able to get along, huh? It sounds good- better than having to fight so much.

[lyse]

It was weird! Y'shtola wouldn't stop smooching Thancred during meetings. [ bleh! ]

...A lot of us don't need to fight at all anymore. As long as we talk - but we can still spar!

Huh. That's- I mean, I'm sure it's nice for them- I'm sure Thancred liked that!- but we don't really need to see it all the time, do we?

Oh- really? Well, that's pretty nice! We can see what everyone's capable of, huh?

It's really cute and romantic, but they need to save a bit for their wedding!

[ wait they havent mentioned that to anybody else. rhalgr might... look over. ]

Mhm! I've gotten to spar so many Primal... is that what Lyse tried to do? Uh, if you know.

-! They're getting married? I never thought- do you know when? Can we come?

[she does, head tilted.]. How'd you hear that, sis?

Uh- in a way, maybe- but not really. She- she's been using that Auracite to absorb them- to keep them from coming back.

[lyse]

Oh, I saw it in their Fate. All paths led to it! [ things she tries not to do often, as she beams at her dear sister. ] Uh, but a date hasn't been made yet-- of course you can come! If they agree!

--Absorbing them? That's possible?! That sounds... bad. If their aether mixes with hers... how much of that is her?

So they haven't said yet? Maybe we should wait to tell more until they have. But that's good news! I hope they tell us soon.. [:3c]

[Yda beams.]. I'd like to! I hope we can!

It is- uh, the Warriors of Light in our world? She said- they went bad. I don't know how many they took- or how many Lyse has taken in. So- I don't really know that, either. Is there a way we can tell…?

Oh, riiiight. I'll keep it a secret for now. Unless one of us tells Byregot, but we can't really keep anything from him!

...Huh. I could try - I'm no Althyk, but maybe her Fate has more to show. [ Nymeia puts a hand on Lyse. She opens her eyes, seeming to watch her... before giving a soft little gasp. A scared little one. ]

...Wow.

[Rhalgr reaches out to ruffle her hair.]. Yeah. But he'll probably be fine with that!

Byregot- wait, don't tell me. [the person that close to them-]. Papalymo?

[she leans forward, peering at them.]. Is- is it bad?

[lyse]

Mhm! Which is really cute... Rhalgr and Byregot getting to be lovers. It's romantic! [ nymeia is a big shipper. ]

But I foresee... a monster. It's got bits of the guardians of the Archbishop, of Ul'dah nobles, and of many Beastkin - well, non-Spoken. There's also some Beast Tribes in there? But weirdly enough, no Primal. [ Nymeia is grabbing out what looks like a... Tomestone? ]

[Rhalgr blushes a bit, but she's smiling.]. We're less dramatic about it! But it's nice.

[Yda grins.]. I'm glad! It's nice to be together again- well, for us, but I'd bet it is for you too.

A monster- what she could become? Oh, Lyse…. [she reaches out to touch her sister, worried.]. That's- a lot more people than I thought? That's weird. Oh- what do you have? [she leans in, curious- still trying to hold onto Lyse.]

Oh, you don't have these? The Ironworks invented them - they're called Tomephones, and let us send messages to other people! I'm just texting a friend who might help. His name's Belias.

[ And then, she nods to Rhalgr. Lyse is still twitching, trying to reach for the Auracite, even as she's basically out cold. ] You mind setting up the... thing? The circle thing? With your Lightning powers?

No- or not yet! But they look super handy! Belias- would he know more about this?

[That's… a little worrying, and she holds on tight. Rhalgr nods, rising to her feet, putting her hands together.]. Consider it done!

[and she's just going to get to work on that.]

Mhm! Belias is an Elder Deity - he was one before we awoke - and maybe even in older Era? He talks like he knew us before we were alive like this. Like, he said the old Althyk was even nerdier then Urianger! Of course, then we met him and he's crazy.

[ ooh, nymeia always loves watching her sibling crafting, even if it's more messy then papalymo. ]

So he's been around for- several Eras? That's pretty impressive! And- wow, there's another one around? But- crazy how?

[yup!! she's… probably going to leave a few marks, lightning crackling. but they can fix it after!]

Turns out that Era didn't end just because of the War of the Magi - but instead Althyk had also fallen in love with a Nymian? Aaaand he sort of tried to break time to stay with her forever. Which sounds romantic until you realise that time being broken would stop everything else.

Nothing else would be able to live if the world was like that, right? So- what happened? Did the other Deities step in?
