the first meeting
[ It almost seemed the Primal had beckoned them. Alphinaud, Papalymo, Yda and Urianger had come to investigate Alexander, and there had been a large open passage. They'd all entered together, and there was a city. After a bit of navigation, though...
...there was a Primal standing in the center of the town. Well, it looked like a Primal to all those who could see it, the four who presented themselves inside. They looked like a being of pure Light, eying the four.
But it seems they won't make the first move. Not yet. ]

Still- seeing someone- a Primal with this much Light- it's overbearing. Yda stops, taking a deep breath, and glances at the others.]. I wasn't expecting this- were any of you? Should we say hello?
[she… well. she takes a step forward, raising a hand.]. Hi! ARe- are you Alexander?
no subject
And stares. It almost feels like multiple eyes are staring back, taking in the sight. A Sphinx with a heavy mask on, a strange unicorn-Au Ra, a demon who should be dead, and... the most normal out of them, a harpy. ] Alexander is pacified.
no subject
She fluffs up a little, gently, worried.] Pacified? So, uh. Does that mean he can't help us?
no subject
[ Papalymo shoots Yda a look, and a whisper. ] Watch out - I think it's planning something!
no subject
[she gives Papalymo a nod, keeping her eyes on the Primal.]. I- really, I don't want to hurt you! Or be hurt, really.
no subject
I can see Diabolos with you. And besides, you're all-- you're Voidsent.
no subject
Um. Yes? And you're a Primal?
no subject
I am not a Primal. Well, I am, but I'm not dangerous.
no subject
Well- you're pretty good at looking it though! But that's- it's possible here. Right? We're not trying to cause trouble either!
no subject
I'm sorry.
no subject
[she knows they have the axe, but she's still slow to get out of the way, taking a bad blow.]
I jsut want to get her back- I don't want to fight you.
[…she'll try, if she has to- getting ready with her fists. Oh- she doesn't like this, but maybe. If they can get this Primal down enough to stop fighting…]
no subject
Until Urianger blocks his path, still masked. Tails swishing. ] This Primal is confusing... are you okay? [ His voice is a growl, but the Primal seems to pause. Clear for a punching? Yes. ]
no subject
She reaches out to Urianger for a moment.]. I will be. [she's just going to take that opportunity to strike.]. Get back!

...to a realm filled with Light. Very bright, very warm. If they hadn't fed already, those from the realm of Darkness would be overwhelmed. (Though Urianger slid his goggles back on - it was too bright for him.) Cordis looked back to them, on the shoreline of Silvertear Lake. Where the Primal had moved to rest. ]
...She'd be a little away. I'll-- teleport us.
[ But before Cordis does, he pauses. Looking to them, so gently. Hands shaking a little. ] Do you-- stay here for a little. I'll be back quickly.
[ Huh. Cordis seems a little nervous, walking away a little. Before whistling for a Griffin, and sort of. Soaring off.
It's Papalymo who speaks up, the Kirin moving to hold Yda. Alphinaud has moved into the shades, and, well. Urianger is still feeding his kitten. ]
I doubt he's just leaving us here. Still--! This is Mor Dhona, isn't it?
no subject
[she's definitely glad she had, although she still winces a little, reaching for the others.]
Okay. We'll be here!
[A Griffin… she wants to chirp, but. Well, they're occupied! Later!
She shifts to hold onto Papalymo in turn, nuzzling him.]
Yeah. He doesn't seem like that kind of person- I'm sure there's something. Yeah- I mean, it looks a little different! But everything still seems to be here!
no subject
They have a Primal-- Deity-- whatever in Silvertear Lake. [ Papalymo says, frowning. ] That can't be good for the aether.
no subject
It's… definitely weird! D'you think maybe it's feeding aether back in…?
no subject
I'd hope so. Otherwise this is a ticking time bomb - and so close to people.
Are they people? [ Alphinaud asks, so casually. ]
no subject
That's- they're people, Alphinaud. There's probably people who aren't deities around here, too.
no subject
To them, we're monsters. Wouldn't it be the same...? They've tried to kill me before, if you recall correctly.
no subject
no subject
[ Oh. alphinaud is sneering. what a cute proud boy. until papalymo speaks, giving Yda a little smooch on the chin. ] I'm certain you can befriend them - that's what you're best at. Better then declaring war on them or the such.
no subject
[she ruffles his hair, purring when Papalymo smooches her.]. Yeah! If they're anything like our friends- they've got to be nice! It'd be pretty weird if we did that.
no subject
--until there's a flapping, and Cordis is back. Holding... robes? ] --Uh, Um. Sorry for rushing off. Realised that y'all can't just walk around housin' wards. Bein' voidsent and all.
no subject
[she reaches out to touch him gently.]
